Storm Huntley is a Scottish television presenter.
She comes from Bishopbriggs in Glasgow.
Since 2015, Huntley has been involved in three shows on British terrestrial television – the seasonal CBeebies show Down on the Farm and The Wright Stuff and its replacement Jeremy Vine.
Why is Storm Huntley called Storm?
Huntley’s first name was reportedly chosen from a combination of her mother reading a novel where the lead had this name (A Sparrow Falls by Wilbur Smith) and an electrical storm outside on the day she was born.
Who did Storm Huntley replace on the Wright stuff?
The longest-serving female co-host on Wright stuff from 2015 to 2018 was Storm Huntley who continued her role in the show’s replacement Jeremy Vine.
Storm Huntley joined The Wright Stuff as a booth girl in May 2015.
She secured the role after participating in a screen test.
Storm then continued the job when Jeremy Vine took over.
She handles the phone-ins and acts as a co-host with the main presenter.
But she gave birth in July 2022 so will not be returning until her maternity leave is over.
