Jayce Luevanos, Jailah’s cousin, was also slain in the incident, according to Luevanos. She added that Jayce’s father, her brother, was grieving his death.

The Bexar County Medical Examiner’s Office in San Antonio is now processing all 21 victims. According to Diaz, the gunman is being held in a neighboring county and will not be transferred to Bexar County until all victims have been processed.
