What happened to Lance Reddick? How did Lance Reddick die?

American actor and musician Lance Reddick has reportedly died at age 60.

The cause of his demise has not yet been revealed, however, law enforcement sources have informed TMZ that it appears to be ‘natural.’

According to the report, the actor’s body was discovered at his home in Studio City, California Friday morning around 9:30am.

On Wednesday, Reddick posted a selfie with his dogs where he appeared to be at home, but did not disclose why he was missing the New York premiere of the latest John Wick film.

He is said to have had a guest appearance on The Kelly Clarkson Show scheduled for next week.

Born December 31, 1962 in Baltimore, Maryland, Lance Reddick is the son of Dorothy Gee and Solomon Reddick. He attended Friends School of Baltimore.

Reddick then studied music at the Peabody Preparatory Institute and a summer program teaching music theory and composition at the Walden School. He subsequently received a Music degree from the University of Rochester’s Eastman School of Music and moved to Boston, Massachusetts in the 1980s.

In the early 90s, Reddick attended the Yale School of Drama, receiving a Master of Fine Arts degree in 1994.

As an actor, he was known for playing Cedric Daniels in The Wire and Phillip Broyles in Fringe, detective Johnny Basil on Oz, Matthew Abaddon in Lost, Charon in the John Wick franchise and Guillermin in Godzilla vs. Kong.

He provided the voice and likeness for video game characters Martin Hatch in Quantum Break, Sylens in Horizon Zero Dawn and Horizon Forbidden West, and Commander Zavala in the Destiny franchise.

Lance Reddick is survived by his wife Stephanie Reddick. It is unknown if the couple had children.
