Clarinet, bass clarinet, flute, soprano, alto, and tenor saxophones were among the instruments Anthony George Coe (29 November 1934 – 16 March 2023) played. He was an English jazz musician.
He enlisted in the military in 1953 at the age of 18 and began playing clarinet and saxophone in the military band and unit dance band. Before reuniting with Joe Daniels in 1955, he spent some time in France performing with the Micky Bryan Band, which also included Gerry Salisbury on valve trombone, Harry Bryan on trumpet, Lennie Hastings on drums, and Coe on clarinet. Tony spent slightly over four years with Humphrey Lyttelton’s band from 1957 to the end of 1961 as a result of his father seeing him perform in 1957.

Also, he has performed with the United Jazz and Rock Ensemble and the Mike Gibbs big band.
