Robert Glasper Wife: Who Is Angélika Beener?

Angélika Beener is a journalist, DJ, host, and producer who has received numerous awards. Downbeat, TIDAL, The Huffington Post, NPR Music, Jazz at Lincoln Center, and National Public Radio have all featured Angélika’s work. She has also contributed liner notes to several critically acclaimed recording projects, including Grammy-winning albums.

Robert Andre Glasper is an American pianist, record producer, songwriter, and musical arranger whose career spans several musical and artistic genres, most notably jazz. Glasper has five Grammy Awards and eleven nominations in eight categories.

Glasper’s breakout crossover album, Black Radio, won the 2013 Grammy for best R&B album, and following this success he performed on various successful albums, including playing keyboards on Kendrick Lamar’s To Pimp a Butterfly and winning another Grammy for the track “These Walls”. Glasper’s ongoing Black Radio album series has since become his calling card, with guests including Yasiin Bey (formerly Mos Def), Bilal, Ledisi, Lupe Fiasco, Jill Scott, and Erykah Badu.
