Participation Lineup For 2023 Aftershock Festival

Participation Lineup for 2023 Aftershock Festival came out on March 14, 2023, on their Instagram. The lineup is also available on their website.

The festival had announced that they would be releasing the lineup via Instagram on March 11. In the initial post, they stated the lineup would be announced the following week.

So, people were wondering how many days it would take, with many anticipating a full seven days. However, the festival surprised fans with a somewhat early release by revealing the full lineup via an interactive 3D post just three days later.

On their website, Aftershock has gone a step further by providing bios and discographies for every single band that will be performing be they headliners, main acts, or support. This way, fans can study up on the music of new acts that they may not have heard of before the show.

The Aftershock Festival Lineup for 2023 features all great rock and metal acts. The acts range from past legends to popular current stars.

As with past shows, each of the four days has three headliners with a bevy of supporting acts. Here is the full Aftershock Festival Lineup for 2023 separated by the days they are performing:

Aftershock Festival will take place at Discovery Park in Sacramento, California. The festival has taken place at the location since its inception.

Discovery Park is the name of the actual venue where the festival will take place and is one of four major parks located within the American River Parkway. The park is about 302 acres of 1.22 km² and is located right outside of Downtown Sacramento.

The exact location of the park is at the confluence of the Sacramento River and the American river. Other activities that also take place at the park are softball, as there are many fields at the place, an archery range, a picnic area that draws in a large crowd outside of festivals too, and various boat ramps with which people can enjoy riding through both the aforementioned rivers.

More About The Aftershock Festival Schedule

The Aftershock Festival schedule has been split into four days. The lineup mentions how the bands have been split.

Due to the 100+ bands that will be performing throughout the festival, the managers have decided to split the event into 23 acts on the first day,  22 on the second day, 26 on the third day, and 23 again on the fourth and last day. 

As for the timing of the actual events, gates have been known to open between 11 AM to Noon but may be subject to change. 

Aftershock Festival will take place from October 5 to October 8, 2023. The location is Discovery Park, Sacramento, California.

The quickest way to get to the park is via Garden Highway exit off Interstate 5. The best thing to remember when traveling to the park is that it is the trailhead for the Jedediah Smith Memorial Trail. 

For those coming into the festival from Sacramento traveling will be very easy and quick as taking the I-5 N will result in reaching the park in simply 6 minutes. In fact, one can walk to the park in an hour and 34 minutes if need be.

As for people coming in from out of state, the journey from the airport to the place is also simple and only requires getting on the I-5 N for about 13 minutes.

Layaway Passes

Aftershock Festival Layaway passes are a unique new way the festival is selling tickets. The pass is only valid until April 30.

Basically, what customers can do here is put down $10 dollars as a way to book the ticket, and then pay via Shop Pay later when they are actually at the event.

The reason why the festival is limited to April 30 is so Aftershock can amortize them evenly from May to July.
