Moe Dunford is an actor who gained prominence after appearing as Æthelwulf, King of Wessex, in the historical drama Vikings and playing Patrick Fitzgerald in the Irish drama Patrick’s Day.
The Irish-born actor had his education at the Gaiety School of Acting.
Moe’s journey into the movie industry began in 2010 when he appeared in two episodes of the historical fiction TV series The Tudors, playing Richard Leland.
Since then, he went on to starr in many films including The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Nightride, Knuckledust, Angela’s Christmas Wish, Topping Out, Dark Lies the Island, Patrick’s Day, Handsome Devil, The Lodgers, Black ’47, Michael Inside, Rosie, Traders and a few others.
On television, Moe starred in An Crisis, Dublin Murders, Bollywood to Hollywood, Redemption, The Dry, Raw, The Tudors, and Game of Thrones.
For playing lead role in Patrick’s Day, Moe received an IFTA for Best Actor in a Lead Role, and an EFP Shooting Stars Award at the Berlin Film Festival.
