Did Matt Gaetz have an affair with a male staffer? He had an affair with a male staff member, Newsweek claims based on tweets from the Democratic opponent. Is it true?
Matt Gaetz is a well-known Republican politician from Florida.
He earned an interdisciplinary social science degree from Florida State University in 2003.
Additionally, he worked as a real estate developer and a legal aid after graduating college.
Gaetz was chosen to serve in the Florida House of Representatives in 2010 and did so until 2016.
He was then chosen to represent Florida’s first congressional district in the U.S. House of Representatives.
His conservative stance and ardent backing of the late President Donald Trump are well known.
Gaetz rejected the allegations that he had a sexual relationship with a 17-year-old girl in violation of federal sex trafficking laws, which led to the Department of Justice opening an investigation in late 2020.

Matt Gaetz Scandal: Rumors Spread Of Having Affair With Male Staffer
Newsweek claims that Matt Gaetz had a relationship with a male staff worker, partly based on tweets from the Democratic opponent he defeated.
Rebekah Jones, the Democratic candidate for the House Republican Gaetz defeated in November 2022 to win re-election, made the unsupported allegation, which has since gone viral, garnering more than 6.5 million views on Twitter alone.
Jones tweeted on Tuesday, “According to three separate sources, Matt Gaetz is rumored to be having an affair with his press secretary, Joel Valdez.
Gaetz’s office and his wife have yet to reply to demands for comment. Gaetz has had affairs before and has dated men before.
Rep. Gaetz’s office provided Fox News Digital with the following statement: “People who have been fired three times, indicted, defeated in politics, or who are mentally unstable shouldn’t be used as sources by respectable media.
Mrs. Jones, in her defamatory tweets, cited no sources or supporting documentation.”
Matt Gaetz Introduces “PENCIL” Resolution
Matt Gaetz introduced the “Preventing Extreme Negligence with Classified Information Licenses,” or PENCIL Resolution.
The PENCIL Resolution stands for Preventing Extreme Negligence with Classified Information Licenses and appears to be a play on Trump’s derogatory “Pencil-Neck” nickname for Schiff.
It demands that House Ethics Committee looks into Schiff’s (D-Calif.) comments about Russian connection and the Trump Campaign in Congress and that whatever access he has to confidential information be denied to him.
The resolution, according to Gaetz’s office, “expresses the view of the U.S. House of Representatives that Congressman Adam Schiff should not have access to classified information.
It should be subject to a House Ethics Committee investigation. Additionally, it should have his comments made during any proceeding of Congress regarding Russian Collusion and the Trump Campaign be officially struck from the record.”
Schiff had access to sensitive documents, such as the first impeachment of former President Donald Trump and the Select Committee on the January 6 Attack, because of his membership on the Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence.
Inside Matt Gaetz Personal Life
Gaetz claimed that he had lived with a 19-year-old Cuban immigrant named Nestor Galbán since Galbán was 12 and raised Galbán as his son.
He then stated that Galbán is an ex-girlfriend of Gaetz and that he spends time with Gaetz, his family, and his sister.
Gaetz announced his engagement to Ginger Luckey, the sister of Palmer Luckey, the inventor of Oculus VR and a significant Republican fundraiser, in December 2020. Later, the pair tied the knot in August 2021.
