Jaden Hullaby’s cause of death has not been announced yet. Not much details were given about his death, however, he died on Sunday, May 21, 2023, after going missing for one week. He was 21 years old.
He was a running prospect in the Longhorns’ 2020 class who switched to linebacker when he got to Austin Campus. Before getting transferred to UNM, he played for two seasons at Austin Campus.
The University of Mexico also confirmed his death and paid their tribute in an official statement.
“The Lobo family is saddened to learn of the passing of former RB/TE Jaden Hullaby. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Jaden’s family and all who knew him,” the statement read.
“He was a great person and someone we all enjoyed being around, coaching, and spending time with. All of our thoughts are with his family, friend, and teammates, and we want to send our deepest condolences to them in such a difficult time,” American football coach, Steve Sarkisian also wrote.
