Heath Ledger was a popular Australian actor, photographer, and music video director known for playing roles in several Australian television and film productions during the 1990s.

Heath Ledger was born on April 4, 1979, in Perth, Australia. His parents are Sally Ramshaw, a French teacher, and Kim Ledger, a racing car driver and mining engineer. He has two half-sisters, Ashleigh Bell and Olivia Ledger.

Heath Ledger started her education at the Mary’s Mount Primary School in Gooseberry Hill, and later Guildford Grammar School.

Heath Ledger started his acting career at age 16 when he starred in the teen comedy 10 Things I Hate About You and in the acclaimed Australian crime film Two Hands, directed by Gregor Jordan.

Heath Ledger died on January 22, 2008, when he was found unconscious in his bed by his housekeeper, Teresa Solomon, and his masseuse, Diana Wolozin in his rented apartment in the SoHo neighborhood of New York City. He died of an accidental prescription drug overdose.
