Cortney van Olphen, the younger sibling of the Vanderpump Rules star, Scheana Shay, was traveling with her boyfriend, Justice Horden, from Las Vegas to Los Angeles on Thursday when his Jeep caught fire and burst into flames.
The terrifying scene was captured on social media by van Olphen and Horden, starting with the black SUV smoking and ending with it totally on fire. Horden stated in a video posted to his Instagram Story that it was his car that was on fire in the middle of the road on the highway.
The fire was eventually put out after the arrival of officers from the fire and police departments, leaving only the charred remains of the car alongside the highway in the desert.
