Alex Humphrey Death – 29-Years-Old British Tourist Had Accident Panama

A motorcycle accident in Knoxville has taken the life of Alex Humphrey, a 21-year-old guy from Nashville. In an unrelated incident, another person with same name British tourist Alex Humphrey went missing from Panama in August 2009.

As the recent motorcycle accident and the victim’s name matched the name of the still lost Alex Humphrey, confusion is created on the internet as to whether the two are the same person.

However, after some research, it can be confirmed that the Alex that died in the accident is not the Alex that disappeared from Panama. Here is a small detail about the two cases.

29-Years-Old British Tourist Alex Humphrey Had Accident Panama

Alex Humphrey was a 29-year-old from Hazel Grove, Stockport, who vanished on August 14, 2009, near a beauty spot in Panama. There is a high chance that the British tourist has died.

Humphrey was last seen at Hostal Vearon in Boquete, Chiriqui Province, near the Costa Rican border, where he checked in to a local hotel. His parents, Gill and Denver, know it is implausible he is still alive and worries he fell victim to a violent crime.

Alex’s mother Gill is a retired Stockport College teacher who misses her son whenever a gathering is held in the house. Alex was the youngest of three brothers. Despite Alex’s family’s desperate attempts to trace him, no clues leading to his disappearance have been found, and the family has no idea how or why he went missing.

The 29-year-old British arrived in Panama City’s capital on August 11, 2009, and traveled to Bouquet the next day. Alex booked four nights of accommodation in the town on August 13 and e-mailed his mum, informing her that he had arrived in Panama.

The hostel owner found his possessions in the hostel room, undisturbed. But after Alex failed to return for five days, the hostel contacted his family in the UK. Despite deploying 30 to 40 men and searching by helicopter, Alex was never found.

Due to the nature of the disappearance and the inability to find the missing person, the possible explanation was that organ traffickers in Panama killed Alex for his organs.
